Michael is a registered yoga teacher, having trained with Esther Myers of Toronto.

Michael’s teachings are inspired by the late Vanda Scaravelli, author of “Awakening the Spine”. This released-based approach to hatha yoga utilizes the movement of one’s breath and the connection to the ground to release and elongate the spine, releasing tension, regaining youthful vitality, strength, and flexibility. Clarity of mind and the ability to relax are also realized.

Michael has maintained a personal practice for 12 years and has been teaching in the Lower Mainland for over 5 years now. Michael’s informal and responsive teaching style encourages you to explore your own experience in a creative, adaptive and exploratory way. This teaching method is suitable and adaptable for participants of all ages and physical ability.
