Susan Alexander comes from a dance background with an extensive history of yoga practice.

Her flow yoga classes are for all levels, introducing sequenced postures arising from ujjayi breath that challenge and organically emerge from the body.

Susan began yoga classes some 27 years ago and continued throughout her professional athletic and dance years. Yoga has been the only physical practice that has healed all her previous athletic injuries.

She is certified in “Dynamic Yoga” as taught by Godfrey Devereux. Susan is inspired by the teachings of Kate Potter.

Now as a mother, Susan’s yoga practice has shifted. Her practice and her teachings have become more of a place to experience breath, movement and deep calmness in a quiet fluid meditation.

Yoga gave Susan life lessons on honesty, joy, concentration, peace and a deep understanding of life in the present moment.

Having taught in Hawaii, California and Salt Spring Island, she now makes her home in Vancouver where she teaches yoga and maintains a private practice of yoga massage.
