I teach a diverse class that encompasses a variety of yogic, embodiment and mindfulness practices. I began doing yoga over 40 years ago when I was a youth. My studies and trainings include: Kundalini, Hatha, Ashtanga, Restorative and Tibetan Heart Yoga, as well as Ecstatic Dance, Continuum, SE (Somatic Experiencing), and Shambhala mindfulness practice. I encourage students to work with their inner knowing and an exploration of alignment and stability through their felt senses. I offer very few adjustments, unless I note a problematic area. I use music, sound, postures and movement to explore a somatically based yoga practice that supports the nervous system and the production of oxytocin. The class is always changing and shifting to attune to the present moment. NOTE: class often includes DANCING, coyote yips. tossing our mats to the side so we can shake it up. If you are looking for a DIFFERENT fully embodied experience this is the class for you.
