Yug or “yolk” : the root word of yoga. This guides my classes : Yolking or connecting the body with the mind is my mantra for teaching and learning yoga. I believe in the breath as the connecting element and I love giving and receiving classes that focus on inhaling to find stretch, opening, space and exhaling to find strength, release tension, find calm. Bringing balance and wholeness through movement of breath.

What people can expect from my class:
Breath work, focus on alignment, core work, different ways of looking at familiar things (kooky cues), and fun challenges. This is all mixed in with subtle approaches to waking up our body-mind connections.

What is your practice like these days?
Recently, I turned to Moksha (hot) yoga as well as my yin and hatha and pilates practice.
