New Year Restorative & Yoga Nidra Session with Bernadette
Saturday, Jan 25, 2025
Time: 2:30 pm - 4:00 pmLocation: Open Door Yoga Main 14th
Begin this new year with release and restoration.
This session offers you to pause – not just from the demands and expectations of the new year but also from the weight of the past year. Through the calming effects of restorative yoga and the intention-setting power of Yoga Nidra, you’ll be guided to celebrate this new chapter while gently letting go of what no longer serves you. Take this perfect moment to rest, reflect, and set the tone for the year ahead.
Facilitator Bio: Bernadette is a 500-hr yoga teacher, a plant-based nutritionist and a trained wellness coach. She is currently a Therapist C-IAYT Candidate at the Vancouver School of Healing Arts where she’s finishing the thesis part of the program. She’s trained in yin, restorative, adaptive, and trauma-informed yoga. She fell in love with the practice in 2010 because of the stillness and calmness that it brought to her life. And from then on, she hasn’t stopped learning and teaching yoga. She’s passionate about supporting people in their healing journey in a holistic way- through movement or yoga, plant-based nutrition, and mindfulness. She believes that mind-body-spirit connection is key to a peaceful and content life. If not teaching, you can find Bernadette in the kitchen experimenting on vegan dishes, reading a book, being with nature, or in a cafe sipping a good cup of oat cappuccino.
