In Hailey’s classes focus is placed on breathe, ease of the body and stillness of the mind. Poses are explained in detail to accommodate beginners and each word spoken is chosen with care to allow space for quiet reflection. Often we will utilize the wooden dowel for compassionate self-massage and fascia release. In late evening classes expect a gentler pace, two restorative postures and a 10-15 minute shavasana.
In 2007 Hailey came to yoga due to a debilitating knee injury. Through practicing yoga regularly she was able to heal the injury and by 2010 graduated from Prana Yoga College with teachers Shakti Mah, Troy Turi and Nevah. She has also trained in Restorative Levels I & II with Nevah and Swan, Yin with Jolene Bayda and Prenatal yoga with Lori Lucas.
“Yoga teaches us to be mindful in every moment on and off the mat and I am very grateful to share this practice with you.”
